Highly finished turntable system honed to perfection
With the combination of aircraft-level aluminium and liquid silicone rubber, the turntable has a very textured appearance and excellent non-slip feel. The damping of spinning the turntable is the same as that of the arcade. The sensitivity of the turntable has 6 levels to adjust, which is convenient for you to find the most suitable sensitivity.
Turntable material
The official EMP turntable grip will curl up after long-term playing. We finally settled on this perfect turntable after two years of research and testing hundreds of material combinations.
PHOENIXWAN's turntable is made of mixed injection molding of liquid silicone and aircraft-level aluminium, which is currently a very difficult production process in the world. Liquid silicone has the features of high transparency and high slip resistance. We have made DJ texture processing for the space aluminium, the visual effect is stunning. The anti-slip effect is much better than EMP.
After 1-2 months of use, the surface of the turntable will be softer to the touch.
Through technical accumulation from 2017 to 2021, we have improved the process several times.

Turntable friction resistance
Comfortable turntable friction resistance can help you quickly find the rhythm of the scratching, and also get more precise control.
PHOENIXWAN draws on the structure of the arcade machine to give you the same feel at home.
Remove the turntable sticker and the four screws fixing the turntable for easy maintenance and adjust the friction resistance of the turntable. Remove the felt in the centre, you can have different hand feelings!
Turntable sensitivity (dead zone) adjustment
Sensitivity is the minimum angle needed to push to trigger the reaction of the turntable in the game. PHOENIXWAN provides 6 levels of sensitivity that can be switched. The default value is Level 4.
Press the E1+E3+B1 key to lower the sensitivity, and the E1+E3+B3 to increase the sensitivity. The light bar will indicates the current snesitivity.
① LR2 Mode, Keyboard Mode and Gamepad Button Mode will be more sensitive than other modes.
② If sensitivity level 3 is used in INFNITAS , level 2 is recommended for LR2 and Keyboard Mode and Gamepad Button Mode.

Minimum rotating speed threshold adjustment
The minimum rotating speed threshold required to trigger the turntable signal.
Press the E1+E3+B5 key to lower the threshold, and the E1+E3+B7 to increase the threshold. With the increase of the threshold, the turntable needs to be pushed more quickly in order to respond.
Default value are recommended.

Micro switch, crisp and clicky
PHOENIXWAN provides an ingenious work for entry level players. This micro switch is customized by DJDAO Design Team based on many years experience. It has a operating force of 15g (0.15N) and has the same structure as Omron's D2MV. It is very close to the Omron micro switch feel and has a very high cost performance.

Ring light mode

Audio light bounces with music
Switch the audio light to the audio spectrum light mode, and connect the audio cable of the computer to the audio interface of PHOENIXWAN. The audio light will change with the rhythm of the sound.

The key panel of PHOENIXWAN is strongly held by 4 screwed-in magnets, which only needs one click to open. Convenient switching between 1p direction and 2p direction makes playing with friends more convenient. No tools are required for maintenance.

The key panel of PHOENIXWAN is held by magnets, which is very convenient for switching between 1p & 2p or maintenance. Just press the button on the bottom shell gently by hand to open the panel. The whole operation can be completed in 10 seconds.
Please mind the direction when rotating the key panel multiple times to prevent cables from being tangled. (Tangled cable may cause the controller to malfunction)
Easy to remove and replace switches
Use industry-leading quick-connect terminals with switches. No tools are needed, just gently press the switch on the terminal with your hand, you can pull out the terminal and freely replace the micro switch you want.
Press the switch of the terminal, hold it, pull out the terminal slow and hard. It is not recommended to pull the cable directly by hand, as this may cause the cable to be disconnected from the terminal.

The cable storage box is at the bottom of the PHOENIXWAN. It is easy to open and close, there is no need to worry about where to put the cables.

  • We use the newly developed master and lighting control board, replace the chip on the board with a more powerful, higher stability one; fix the bug that caused the LED light not to light up occasionally.
  • The new master control board solved the problem of occasionally no responding.
  • We use the separate USB type-B and type-C cable to supersede the legacy PS2+USB+USB combination. USB Type-B undertakes data transmission and power supply of button lights, and USB Type-C provides ring lights and audio-activated light bar (hereafter "light bar") with power. It can work only by connecting USB type-B.
  • The brightness of the ring light and light bar is higher.
  • The sensitivity of the turntable has been improved. The maximum sensitivity of the old turntable is 3 / 288, the new turntable is 1 / 288. The highest sensitivity is suitable for LR2 insane Players. If you like the sensitivity of the arcade turntable, please lower the sensitivity to level 2 or level 1, which is almost the same trigger sensitivity as the latest arcade. A higher sensitivity upgrade kit will be introduced in 2022.
  • Newly added Keyboard Mode and Gamepad Button Mode can be adapted to more usage scenarios. Just use your imagination.
  • The new material of the metal mesh is more durable and no longer rusty.
  • The surface treatment process of the turntable is improved, the friction between the finger and the turntable is reduced, the hand feel is improved and softer.
  • Supports PlayStation2 via USB to PS2 converter. We still haven't abandoned the support for PlayStation2. The USB to PS2 adapter will be released in December 2021.
  • Beatmania IIDX ultimate mobile will be supported via USB to Bluetooth converter. The USB to Bluetooth adapter will be released in December 2021.
